Passed suddenly away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre
On Wednesday, April 22, 2009 Yvonne Power of Mortier in her 54th year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Terry; sons Terrence and wife Christa of Mortier and Trevor and wife Kathy of Mortier; Daughters Flo and husband Dwayne Sheppard of BC and Tracey and husband Harvey Courage of Mortier; 9 grandchildren Terrilyn, Jordan and Ryan Courage, Michaella, Terrance, Cameron, Alisha, and Travis Power and Beth Sheppard; sisters Bertha (Ern Cluett) of Garnish, Patsy (Harold May) of Garnish and Mae (Robin Belzile) of Alberta; Brothers Ted Bennett (Meline) of Burin and Levi Bennett (Marion) of Salt Pond plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Laura and Frank Bennett; brothers Clifford Bennett and Sam Bennett; sisters Marjorie Bennett and Ruby Hollett.
Father Theodore O'Connor officiated Funeral massfrom St. Patrick’s Parish Church, Burin on Saturday, April 25, 2009 with interment following on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fox Cove.
Pallbearers were Terrilyn Courage, Jordan Courage, Ryan Courage, Alisha Power, Michaella Power, Terrence Power and Cameron Power.
Crossbearer was Travis Power.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to serenity funeral home, burin “WE CARE”
