As the president of the GSSCC I would like to give my deepest condolences. Mark was a well respected judge and a lot of fun to have at your events. He will be missed by many.
Personally I will miss the long conversations wwe had a few times a year when we got together at events. Mark always had an opinion on how he thought things should go and wasn't shy about letting you know. His passing was a great shock to all. I will miss him greatly.
Life is a fragile thing. Take a page from Marks book and don't waste it.

Best wishes to Debbie and everyone else.

yours truly

Debbie,
What an absolute shock to see the news about Mark! He was a true friend, an honorable man and had a sense of humor that could bring one to tears in gales of laughter. He was a wonderful judge, always encouraging, and willing to help anyone who truly wanted to learn through a training problem. I always knew he'd have a big smile, a great hug and a good chuckle about "old times" when I saw him at trials. My deepest sympathies to you, God bless you Debbie!

Our sincerest condolences to Debbie and family, Mark was a great person as well as a great friend.
My fondest memory is sitting in my living room watching TV and eating breakfast tacos when his Monday morning flight was cancelled due to fog. Mark called me from the airport and said, "Can you take off work and come and get me? " What a fun day!! Too many other enjoyable occasions to mention. I know that I will miss him terribly.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mark's passing. I always looked forward to entering trials where Mark was judging, as he had such a knack for putting nervous handlers at ease. I remember when he judged my first FH...it wasn't pretty and we barely passed, but Mark was so patient (even though it was an early morning after a late night at the clubhouse :) and even joked a bit during the track just to ease my "pain". He was a true friend and champion of the sport, welcoming all handlers and breeds without bias or preconceptions. Mark represented the epitome of what this sport is all about....comraderie, sportsmanship, and love for the dogs. Thanks Mark... you will be greatly missed.
To Mark's family, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dear Debbie and family; I offer my deepest sympathy and send hugs, I have such recent memory of this type of loss, my heart goes out to you. I will definitely miss Mark, his humor, his ability to mentor, listen and learn as well as be a friend. We laughed a lot at the Sieger shows, meetings, many events and the trial I judged at his club. Take Care!

We just got to meet Mark in february of this year at the South East Regional. We got to spend most of the weekend around him then. We then had him out to our club where he stayed the weekend with us at our house. Mark was so in love and passionate about schutzhund. He just sat and told us story after story. We are truly shocked that he is no longer with us. He will be missed terrbly. Our condolences go out to his family.

Always,
Chris & Lydia Thompson
and the entire North Beach Schutzhund Club

Deb, family and friends,

I recieved the news of Mark's passing while out of town. I literally had to sit down, as it hurt to have such a close friend, who was as nice of a guy as you could find, no longer with us. Mark was one of my oldest SchH buddies, and like a brother to me. He had a great sense of humor, that a lot of people didn't always have a chance to see, but that was Mark. Once you had a chance to spend some time with him, he was a riot. I have lots of fond memories, and it was a priviledge to have been able to call Mark my friend.

Condolences,

Al & Marcia Govednik
