Sherri Cale, Gardner Kansas,
Sandy, Keeley and Mattie and the entire Schwenker family,
So many memories I have of the farm. The hours we played in barns, and Grandma Florence's basement. It all makes me smile. The memories I have of Kay and her incredible infectious smile. I wish you peace and understanding and the memories to last a lifetime. Kay inspired me to be a floral desinger for years, and Maryann I still have a love for horses. I only wish that I touch half as many lives in my lifetime as Kay did.... My prayers are with you family.. I will thnk of her and smile.
Love Sherri

Sandy, Keeley and Mattie and families. I am so sorry for your loss. Kay and I had such wonderful times while we were growing up and I was lucky enough to have met you on my brief visits to the States. Kay's laughter and great sense of "pranks" will always be remembered by anyone who came in contact with her. I saw her on my last visit to Iowa in Oct 2009 and the pride and love with which she spoke of all you was amazing, you were all so special to her---her reason to be....

Although I hardly saw or kept up with Kay as an adult,
it was wonderful to have seen her at our 35th reunion.
Her smile and laughter in our shared times will live on always
in my memories...what great times we had as kids!

To Kay's family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Kay will be greatly missed, but lovingly remembered. I will cherish my memories of growing up together and the special times at Leisure Lake and numerous slumber parties. We did have some fun!
