The world lost a good person with the passing of Jason. I was blessed to have Jason as a friend during our college days together and have many fond memories during that time. The video tribute brought laughter, smiles and a few tears, but reminded us what we all loved about him. As many of you have already stated, his laugh and smile were one-of-a-kind. Drax, you will be missed by many. While this is a difficult time for family and friends, we can only hope that Jason will thrive in his new life and hope for an opportunity to meet again. As a father of two girls, it saddens me to think about the void Taylor will be missing, but I'm hopeful you will be watching over her. My thoughts and prayers are with you Sara and Taylor. Wishing you peace and comfort. Darren Hayden (Moorhead State friend)
My thoughts and prayers are with Jason's Family and loved ones. I was friends with "Drax" back in HS and SCSU, but had lost touch over the years. I remember many fun times shared with Jason, and I know his heart was always in the right place. It's been many years, but I can still picture that smile and hear that laugh. I hope his family finds comfort in remembering him and the very special person he was. God Bless, Brian Johnson
I am so saddened to hear the news about Jason. We were very close friends in college but lost touch after that. I remember he had such a spirit about him and when he walked into a room he light it up. He had a great personality and so much energy. He will be very missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and especially his daughter Taylor. I am so very sorry. Old friend, Emily Wottrich(Alick)

I am very sorry to hear about Jason. My thoughts and Prayers are with his family. Although Jason and I had lost touch over the years the news of his passing brought sadness. We had many great times together as high school friends and college roommates in Moorhead and St. Cloud. I will always remember his sense of humor, smile and laugh. The video tribute is exactly how I remember him. Jason will be missed by all who knew him. Jeff Plotnik Old Friend
I'm very sorry to hear about Jason. My memories of my best friend John's little bro, always wanting to hang out with us, wiffle ball in the back yard and home runs on top of the house, foosball and a memorable trip to the cabin. He always had a grin on his face from ear to ear . My thoughts and prayers are with his family Mitch Grittner Old friend of John and Jason
Sara, you will be in my thoughts and in my prayers. Please call for anything. Love, Pat
Few people light up a room with humor and love like Jason could (you all know what I mean). I feel lucky to have known him and he will be missed by us all. I hope the great memories of his smile and laugh help ease the pain for family and friends. Also what an amazing little girl we have the opportunity to remember him by! God Bless, Scot Joynt Old Friend

Sara, Taylor, Karen, Stan and Family, My thoughts and prayers go to you at this very sad and difficult time. The video tribute to Jason showed a happy person that loved the many people that are with him in the video, that is the way I will remember him. Time will provide you the strength to understand that you could not control the path that lead Jason from you to the arms of God. Love, Lori A co-worker of Sara
