Kathy and Scott, my heart goes out to both of you - there are no words to express how sorry I am. Most of my childhood is filled with fond memories of Dale - that go hand in hand with my most treasured memories of Grrandma and Grandpa Stafford. Dale was very protective of all of Carolyn's kids ... when we would go shopping Dale always held my hand. The summer I spent with Grandpa during his sickness Dale had to talk me into coming back home to stay - I didn't want to leave. Because of our fondness for horses too - we always talked about that. But, some of my best memories are when you and Dale were dating with the weekend visits to Carolyn's. I know you may have thought we were wild cause we got so excited when the two of you came - but it's because we loved you guys. I just wish I could have spent more time with the two of you later. Dale's passing has taken a big piece out of me and time in my life that is very sacred. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it to the funeral.
