Mr. Jerry Lynn "Red Oak" Brock, age 60, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, August 16th, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Brock was born in Detroit, MI on June 12, 1952, the son of the late Haskell Ray Brock and Rosell Dunn Brock.

Funeral services will be held  at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, at 3pm on Sunday, August 19th, with Tracy Curtis and Jonathan Savage officiating. Burial will follow in the Doyle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3pm.  at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.

Survivors include:
sister - Wanda G. Gribble of Doyle
2 neices - Chadra Daniels of Doyle
  Tiffany Jones and husband Billy of Sparta
great nephew - Chance Daniels of Doyle
son - Gregory Brock of Doyle
Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
