Gary Wayne Nowlin, age 53, passed away November 14, 2012. He was born in Jenkins, KY, and was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Nowlin, his parents, James E. Nowlin and Thurline Mullins Nowlin, and his grandparents, John and Cora Mullins.

Wife: Gail Nowlin of Clintwood, VA

Children: Brittney Jane Nowlin, Clintwood, VA

Courtney Gail Lyall, Clintwood, VA

Brothers: Barry(Melissa) Nowlin, Big Stone Gap, VA

Larry(Lena) Nowlin, Coeburn, VA

Special Cousins and Friends: Carl Mullins and Hank Mullins

Five grandchildren: Destiny Nowlin Boggs, Andi Nowlin, Chloe Nowlin Cantrell, Breanna Rose, and Easton Rose

Several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with a service to be conducted at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 am at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Clegymen Carl Mullins, Roger Freeman, and Willie Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Levi Cantrell Cemetery, Pound, VA.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Hank Mullins, Frank Mullins, John David Mullins, Rondall Mullins,  Morris Mullins, Joey Mullins, and Dale Smith.
