hello. first off i would like to say i am very sorry about dougie. you have my deepest sympathies. though i didnt know him very long, i knew him a while and came to like him very much. he taught me a good amount in the fire dept. i know i am late in saying this but he died while i was in basic training down in ft. benning, GA. and i didnt know of this site and tribute video until today........

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has shown our family so much love over this past year. Doug showed so much faith and strength to us. He loved his life - family, dog, friends, fire department... he filled our world with love and laughter and joy. The honor that has been shown to Doug and the kindness that has been extended to our family from you all will forever be remembered.
