BAYER
Clara Virginia “Jennie” (nee Edgington), age 88, beloved wife of William H. “Bill” Bayer passed away peacefully January 16, 2012 with Bill by her side holding her hand. They had recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Loving mother of Bill Bayer (Julie) and Tina Swinson (Darrell), cherished grandmother of Aaron, Matthew, Jesse, Nathan and Seth, devoted great-grandmother of Kayla, Grace Ann, Baby Erin, Avery, Ellie, William Cooper and Kobi, dear sister of Harmon Edgington, Cecil Snyder and the late Cleo Clark, Gladys Collier, Garnet Drees and Lawrence Edgington. She will be missed by all who knew her. Jennie was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post 72, the women’s auxillary and Eastern Star. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19 from 6-8 PM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (St. Rt. 125), Amelia. Funeral service on Friday at 11 AM  at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Sem Haven Care Center, 225 Cleveland Ave., Milford, OH 45150. www.ecnurre.com
